Grass Finished Beef are young, heritage breed beeves fattened on pasture. The heritage breeds have old world genetics from when all cattle were finished on pasture and tend to be more tender and succulent. They are smaller framed (basically shorter and fatter) so a quarter, half or whole will be smaller than a grass fed or burger cow. Portion sizes will be smaller because the animals are smaller. This is a great product for someone that wants the best beef they can buy and budget is not as important as quality and you are supporting the preservation of heritage breeds by buying these animals. All of these animals are born on our ranch and have spent their whole lives with us. You can expect the hanging weight on a premium beef to be 350 - 450 lbs.
