Order Beef

How to Order

We sell all of our animals by the 1/4, 1/2 and whole animal

Since you are buying a share in a live animal, we price by the “hanging weight(prices exclude the butcher fee, which per USDA regulations you must pay directly to the butcher)

Go to the ‘Order Beef’ page and select the type of beef you want (premium, grass fed, or burger beef).

Select the amount you want (1/4, 1/2 or whole beef) and then the date and butcher that best suits your needs.

  • Pay the deposit to hold your animal ($200 for 1/4, $400 for 1/2, $600 for whole)

  • We will coordinate with the butcher and arrange the transport and harvest of the animal

  • Once we get the hanging weights back from the butcher, we will charge your card on file, or send an invoice for your remaining charge per pound

  • Your meat will dry age and hang for 10-14 days, during which time the butcher will contact you to get your specific cutting instructions.

  • You pick up the meat at the butcher in Coeur d'Alene, Blanchard, or Cataldo about 2 weeks after the harvest date and pay the butcher for the cut and wrap fees.

  1. Place a deposit on the portion you want on our order beef page
    ex. $200 for a quarter

  2. We will let you know when your animal will be harvested
    ex. September 20th

  3. Pay in full for your harvested animal (we will charge your card on file or invoice you)
within a week of the harvest date

  4. The butcher will call you for your custom “cut list.”
